Dariya-e-Nur Diamond

Thought to be the most praised jewel in the Iranian Crown Jewels and one of the most seasoned known to man, the 186-carat Dariya-e-Nur is a roughly molded stone measuring 41.40 × 29.50 × 12.15 mm. The name implies Sea of Light, River of Light, or Ocean of Light.
Both the Darya-i-Nur and the memorable Koh-i-Noor are said to have been in the ownership of the first Mogul head of India, from whom they plummeted to Mohammed Shah.
